At the February meeting we discussed the future of the alley, what we like about our alley, and what our core values are.

Alley Celebration: ability to connect with like minded people. Participating in events.  Learning together.

Alley faves:  workshops, education, social times, Candlelighters, Foster Family, TACE, and laughter.

Alley limitations, what keeps us from participating:  life schedules, family, work, physical limitations, lack of participation.

Alley future.  What do you want to see in the future:  workshops, education, NW conference, more members, zoom meetings, more clown participation

Alley core values:  Education, extended workshops possibly on Fridays or Saturdays.  Funny, bring the funny back to the meetings.  Participation, doing things together.

Ideas for alley meetings in the future:

1) Education.  Break up into small groups to learn something, time to share, mentoring each other, rotate groups.

2) Offering a Clowning 101 course, get clowns started offer training for events other than just parades.

3) Focus on 4 major events a year.  Build up skills and teach things that can be done at these events.  Focus events: Foster Family Picnic, TACE, Salem Art Fair, and Candlelighters.
